How to Update Windows for a Vista Activation

1). Click on the "Start" button from your Windows Vista desktop and then click on the "Computer" option.
2). Click on the "System properties" option and then click on the "Click here to activate Windows now" option from the "Windows activation" section.
3). Enter your administrator password and then click on the "Continue" button. Select the "Activate Online" option.
4). Enter your name and email address, and then click on the "Next" button. Enter your Windows Vista product key into the text boxes. The product key can be found on the packaging of your Vista installation CD.
5). Click on the "Activate" button and Vista will be fully activated. Click on the "Start" button again and then click on the "All Programs" option to update Windows Vista.
6). Click on the "Windows Update" option and then click on the "Check for updates" option. Click on the "Install update" button.
