How to Connect a Karaoke System

1). Connect A/V cables to the karaoke system by attaching them to the "line out" plug. Connect these cables to the television by plugging it into the input that says "line in."
2). Connect the karaoke system to your mixer. To do this, use A/V cables that come with the system. Depending on the specific system you are using, the cables may need to be plugged into different inputs, but in most cases there will be an indicator on the mixer informing you where to plug it into.
3). Connect your microphone(s) to your mixer. There will be a symbol or word on the mixer informing you of which input to plug the microphone(s) into.
4). Connect the mixer to the speakers. This will provide the sound for the karaoke system so make sure the speakers are placed in an ideal area. Use another A/V cable to connect an output from the mixer to an input on the speakers.
5). Plug in your karaoke system into a nearby power source. Turn the system on and follow the onscreen instructions in order to choose the correct song that is going to be sung.
