How to Roll Snugpaks Down to Size
- 1). Zip up the Snugpak sleeping bag and close any Velcro straps. Shake out the bag to get rid of dirt or sand. If you have a compression stuff sack instead of the included sack, use it rather than a non-compression bag.
- 2). Stuff the sleeping bag into the stuff sack or compression sack. Start at the foot or the top of the bag; either end is fine. Randomly stuff the bag into the sack, as this keeps the loft randomly compressed between uses and prevents thin zones in the loft.
- 3). Push the bag all the way down and pull the sack tongue over the top of the bag. Cinch down the top of the sack.
- 4). Pull down on the compression straps surrounding the sack if using the compression sack. Pull them down evenly so the sleeping bag is compressed evenly, and looks much like a loaf of bread.
