Fruit Smoothie - Make Sure Yours Will Help Your Body

Don't be fooled by both McDonald's and Burger King's real fruit smoothies.
Sure, they have real fruit, and they are keeping the grams of fat low.
With each having over 250 calories, you'd like to see a good amount of protein in them.
They only have a total of two grams (and this is for their medium sizes).
This means their smoothies can't serve as a balanced meal.
Fresh, raw food is known for having a much higher level of nutrients than processed (cooked, frozen or canned food).
Fresh, raw food also has active enzymes.
These aid digestion as well as absorption of the nutrients being ingested.
Many of us are walking around with digestion issues we aren't aware of as well as problems with nutrient absorption.
Over time, this has a significantly negative effect on your overall health.
Do you think all or most of the ingredients the fast food restaurants are putting into those smoothies are fresh and raw? I haven't been able to find ingredient lists for either of these online.
But based on the nutrition info, I would guess that if there is anything raw in their smoothies, it wouldn't be much.
Smoothies are a fantastic opportunity to give your body fresh, raw food.
I've been experimenting with ingredients for a number of years and have found a really great combination.
This smoothie is delicious, nutritious and very satisfying.
