How to Measure the Breasts for the Correct Bra Cup Size
- 1). Wrap the tape measure around your rib cage, just under the breasts. This measurement should be in inches.
- 2). Add 4 inches if the measurement is an even number or 5 inches if the measurement is odd. This is the band measurement for your bra.
- 3). Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of the breast. Note the measurement.
- 4). Subtract the bust measurement from the band measurement. Each inch represents a cup size. For example, if there is 1 inch difference, your correct cup size is "A"; if the difference is 2 inches, your cup size is "B"; a 3 inch difference, your correct cup size is "C"; and so on.
