Plastic surgery, a scientific art

Art can be considered as a means of creating beauty where there is none. The summit of art is to create that same beauty from raw materials unsightly material that differs from the beauty. Art is a purely human domain because there is no art without a man.

Besides, there is neither beauty nor ugliness without prior human judgments. If the man wants to make art, that is to say, creating beauty from ugliness, why not getting down there not what keeps him closest to his heart: the view other? It would thus kill two birds with one stone. Individualism and modern society are the physical beauty to the level of ultimate goal of inter-subjective relations. The art could therefore help to shape a body to make it a masterpiece.

Science has long been synonymous with progress, before being a source of concern. The surgery Montreal has emerged recently as opposed to useful and functional surgery. The body can function without being aesthetic. Now art by definition has no value, intrinsic. He saw through the eyes and judgments, as the beauty of a body (and not the body itself, as the sum of cells). The surgery is completely atypical, since it uses science for virtually unnecessary and aesthetic. It is therefore the intersection between these two opposing disciplines. And as any bridge between two fields opposite in their goals, it often arouses bitter criticism, often unjust and hypocritical.

In the same way, art is often used as therapy. What about those people who feel bad about themselves because of a physical defect which obsesses constantly? They are generally happy reality shows (very active on the U.S. networks) based on cosmetic surgery in the coming savior of souls, so weak and helpless, bodies ungrateful and hurtful judgments. In this precise sense that art can be therapy. Access to aesthetics, beauty, is a path towards good one would be wrong to disparage.

Finally, there is a final link between cosmetic surgery and art. Art is trivially considered a "medium of expression", a symbol of our home, a window of our emotions, our aspirations and our subconscious. And what do the surgery if it is an expression of unhappiness? It is indeed a symbol of sadness, the vision of an injustice that the birth or age has brought. And instead of expressing dismay that after years of brooding melodrama, better cope with and express dismay: "yes I do not feel good about my body but I do not complain, I control my body and misfortune. In this context, there exists an intrinsic link between beauty and art, namely the expression of feelings, and their control.
