- 1). Insert the Windows XP CD into your computer.
- 2). Restart the computer and press any key as the computer loads to boot from the CD.
- 3). Press "Enter" to move past the initial screen and "F8" to accept the Windows EULA.
- 4). Select your installation of Windows from the menu onscreen and press "R" to initiate the repair process.
- 5). Reboot your computer at the conclusion of the repair.
