I'm sure there are other ways to solve this dilemma but I'm going to share mine and one that is becoming increasingly common - starting your own business using the internet.

A big plus from my point of view is that I don't have to conform to some manager's or in my particular case the government's way of doing things and can just focus on doing what's in the best interests of my customers and clients.

Please expect to "fail" several times before you hit on just the right thing for you.
To truly be successful in business, and life, you need to be willing to face failure and to see it as a learning experience, necessary to the success process.
If you are really starting on a budget then you will need to have time instead, time to learn the technical and marketing skills (don't worry it's not really too complicated) and time to spend on activities designed to attract and find potential customers like creating articles or social media posts.
You can minimise the fear-factor by starting small and slow in your spare time rather than quitting your current work and working on it full-time.
