• 1). Set up a free WordPress website for your business if you want to communicate with your customers using short blog entries. Click the "Sign up now" button on the WordPress.com website. Create a user name and password. Enter your email and address and review the terms of service.
  
  
• 2). Choose a domain name for your blog, such as "mybusiness.wordpress.com" and enter a title for your blog, such as "My Business" and click the "Signup" button.
  
  
• 3). Sign in to your account from the Wordpress.com homepage. Click on the "Dashboard" option to create a new entry, known as a post, and manage the content for your business. Use your blog to advertise new products and services, answer customer questions and describe creative ways to use your products. You can also manage comments, monitor your website usage and change your site settings by clicking on the "Dashboard" option. • 1). Build a 30-day free trial website for your business to sell products and services using the Homestead website by setting up a user ID, including your email address, password and an answer to a security question. To set up your member information, enter your first and last name, as well as your phone number. From the "Website Type:" menu, choose the "Business" option.
  
  
• 2). Enter your street address, state and zip code. Next, enter your billing information and click the "I AGREE to the Terms of Service" check box. Click the "Click Here to Finish" button to complete your setup process.
  
  
• 3). Choose a design for your website. Customize the site by adding your business logo, text, multimedia and domain name. Depending on your business needs, set up your website to sell a few products using PayPal as your payment mechanism, set up a shopping cart or establish a complete electronic commerce solution using Homestead tools. Publish your website. Homestead hosts your website on their hardware and software infrastructure.
  
  

Wix

• 1). Create a free website to market your business using the Wix website by clicking the "Start now" button on the Wix website. Enter your email address, a password and the user name you want to use. Click the "Create" button to make your own web content.
  
  
• 2). Choose a template for your site. For example, click the "Blank Website" option and enter a title, such as "My Business." Choose the "Titles" option from the "Text" menu and select a title font, such as Arial. Click on the "Insert text here" text block, and select the "Edit" option. Enter the title for your page, such as "Product Descriptions." Choose the "Background" option from the "Page Parts" menu and select a background image. Choose the "Paragraphs" option from the "Text" menu and select the "Simple Text" option. Click the text block and select the "Edit" option. Add your business information. Use the other Wix features to add multimedia to your page, as needed by your company.
  
  
• 3). Click the "Publish" button to make your page available to customers. Enter a name for your page, such as "My Business Page" and click the "OK" button. Click the "Go" button to open your page in your browser. You can share your page using social media technology options, such as Facebook and Twitter, to market your products and services.
