Building a stool can be very easy and fun by following these simple instructions.
This project can be taken on by anyone who can get their hands on some pieces of wood and some screws.
Like any woodworking project, if you are inexperienced, you should have someone supervise you for your safety and the safety of whoever is going to sit on this bench.
This project should take a total of about an hour, less if you are experienced and maybe a little more if you are not.
First, you need to decide how long your bench is going to be; once you have done so, cut your wood to the desired length.
Now, you need two small square pieces of roughly 3x3 wood.
Then you need your legs, these should be about 2x3.
Screw the legs into the 3x3 pieces, but leave room for one piece of wood to be slid in between where the legs are being assembled.
Once the legs are assembled, slide a piece of wood in between them and screw it into the sides of the legs.
Now you need your seat.
Lay the long board on top of the legs structures and screw it down into them.
Your bench is completed! You can paint it any color to match wherever you are putting it.
I think it looks best in its natural wood color however.
To paint it, you only need one can of paint, probably less, though, depending on how long you decided to make it.
