Poppability

Definition:

Poppability is how easy or hard it is to take a baby in and out of a baby carrier. Pouches tend to have the best poppability, followed by baby slings, whereas some baby wraps and Asian baby carriers are less poppable.

As your baby gets older, a carrier's poppability may be more important to you. Newborns and young infants are often content to be held close for long stretches of time, but older babies and toddlers sometimes can't decide if they want to be in the carrier or down and exploring.

The poppability of my sling was very important to me when my daughter hit toddlerhood!
