How To Make A Paper Snow Ball
For the first variation all you need are clean (unused) disposable diapers, the cheaper the better.
You are going to need one for each ball and the more balls the better if you're planning a "snow" ball fight.
You need to bundle the disposable diaper really tightly and tape it securely with it's little tape strips.
If you don't know how to do this ask someone with a baby who uses disposable diapers.
If you're going to play really hard with your "snow" balls you may want to add some clear packing tape to make them more durable.
The second variation is a little more eco-friendly because you use leftover paper to make the "snow" balls.
Newspaper works well, but any paper that crumples nicely can be used.
Make the paper into a ball: the size is up to you, but think "snow" ball.
Once you have made the paper ball wrap it in clear packing tape.
You do not have to cover the entire ball, but use enough tape so your "snow" ball can be played with and won't come apart easily.
These "snow" balls are great for play inside.
They are very light.
They are also fun to make with colored paper or wrapping paper.
You can also use colored tape when you are wrapping them.
Older kids will probably love the idea of an indoor "snow" ball fight.
Preschoolers can sort them; toss them into buckets, bins or pans; and count them.
