Sylvia Hatchell's Carolina Basketball Camps showcases a variety camps ranging from elite college prep and individual camps to position, shooting and Carolina's finest team camps, just to name a few. Each camp, which is open to girls from ages 8 to 18, is customized with small group instruction to meet the needs of the players and improve upon their fundamental skills. Specialized camps catering to positions concentrate on individualized play such as post players working on playing with their back to the net, using screens and boxing out, while guards or perimeter players work on ball-handling drills, footwork, shot selection and working the offense. The elite and advanced sessions focus more intense play and strategy. Hatchell, who coached her team to four ACC Championships and back-to-back Final Fours, runs the camp with the same winning approach. All camps are held at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
