• Beginning with an overview of EJB and Java Persistence API, EJB training includes training on session beans, persistent entities and message-driven beans. Further, the training provides information on the following:
  * Building secure transactions and transactional systems
  * Exception handling
  * Querying, updating, versioning and locking
  * Entity relationships, relationship mapping, inheritance mapping
  * Additional JPA capabilities, including embedded objects

Prerequisites

• It is simply impossible for anyone to take an EJB online training course and really apply the information correctly unless they have a solid understanding and actual experience with Java programming. Further experience with distributed systems and in particular object-based systems is a valuable enhancement to EJB online training. If you do not have extensive experience with Java, obtain that before moving on to EJB.

Computer Requirements

• EJB online training can be delivered as a self-paced program, in a classroom-delivered program via an online source or as one-on-one self-paced sessions. Regardless of the way in which the training is delivered, software requirements to EJB online training are:
