How to Boot from Disc in BIOS For Vista
- 1). Restart your computer. After the restart, immediately start pressing the button used to access your motherboard's BIOS. This is generally the "F2" key. It is usually listed on the first screen that comes on after you turn on or restart the computer (if not there, check your manual).
- 2). Use the directional keys to scroll over to the "Boot" menu.
- 3). Find the "CD-ROM" option and press "Enter." Select the disc drive you want to boot from. Press the "+" key.
- 4). Press "F10" to apply and save the changes. Your computer will restart again, only this time it will boot from your disc drive and not the hard drive.
