- 1). Visit the Softnoic website. Click "Download" to install and setup Arovax Antispyware 2.0.65. Launch Arovax Antispyware. Click "Scan Now" under the "Deep Scan" section. Select the Generic Dropper CX infection once the scan is complete. Click "Clean" to remove the infection. Restart your system once you remove the infection.
- 2). Install SecureIT Free Edition. Run the "SecureITFree.exe" setup file. Agree to the terms of the tool, and click "Next" at the prompts to finish the installation. Open SecureIT Free Edition. Choose the option that scans your entire hard drive. Place a check by the Generic Dropper CX once the scan finishes. Click the repair option. Restart your computer once the repair is complete.
- 3). Install AVG AntiVirus Free Edition 9.0. Run the "avg_free_stb_all_9_115_cnet.exe" setup file, and click "Next" at the prompts to complete the AVG AntiVirus installation. Click "Start" and click "Computer." Right-click the hard drive letter and click "Scan with AVG AntiVirus." Place a check by the Generic Dropper CX infections once the scan is complete. Select the repair option, and restart your system when the scan completes.
