102 36
Just bought it or someone just gave you a magnificent slr camera. You waited long wanted to have one, and already have it in your hands. I understand the emotion that overcomes you; it means you have taken the first step in what will eventually become a true passion. To accompany you on your first day, I would like to share with you seven things you do already but I would recommend it to be important. Some will seem almost crap but they are not. If only someone had told me about them I was taking my first steps in photography. I would have saved a lot of headaches, hours and hours looking at the manual, and time wasted through ignorance and lack of experience.

Download the Manual in PDF
Yes, I know that your camera came with a piece of paper manual. However, you need to look and download the manual in PDF . Today all brands publish their PDF manuals for most models I suppose. Having a copy in PDF makes things easier. If you get one hand on manual, it can store in your computer, your iPhone, save it in your email and consult where caught. Immediately you can access all sections of the manual where it was mentioned that term or concept.

Customize Your Camera Menu
Most digital SLR cameras now allow you to customize your menu buttons and functions. Many people do not know it at first, and you cannot really get an idea of how easy and convenient it is to use an SLR tailored to your tastes and your shooting style.

Buy Polarizer and UV filter
Be sure to run a long time without buy some. At least you need a polarizing filter to shoot landscapes and other UV to simply protect the lens from scratches and dust.

Buy a Backpack / Tripod
Without a backpack simply think about doing an outdoors photo shoot itself, sounds lazy doesn't it. It is now easy walking with camera in hand all the time. There is need to have a good backpack to protect and help you carry your photographic equipment. The tripod is optional. That doesn't depend on how eager you are to buy it. Rather it depends on the type of photography you plan you do. Are you going to want to do commercial photography? Will you photograph a sunset ? Do you attract long exposure photography ? If you answered yes to any of the above questions then yes, you need to buy a tripod friend. Failure to do so will expose you to a risk of getting blur and blur, frustrated and think that photography is not your thing.

Create your Inspiration Folder
An inspiration folder is a file in your computer in which you save photos that you find online, photos of those that you see and you cannot help but sigh with desire. This folder at the bottom is something symbolic, represents what moves us in the picture, what we love, represents small challenges that we would someday be able to get.
