    • 1). Using a straight edge, such as a ruler, draw a long, vertical line in pencil. Make this line light because it will be erased later. This line will help you keep your drawing symmetrical.

    • 2). Draw a small, horizontal oval at the top of your pencil line. Make this oval in pen. Draw this shape evenly over the center line so that the oval is bisected by the vertical line. This shape makes the cork or opening of your wine bottle.

    • 3). Draw a large, horizontal oval at the bottom of your pencil line. Use your pen to form this shape. Make sure that the bottom edge of the oval touches the end of your central line. The line should evenly bisect the oval. This oval forms the base of your wine bottle.

    • 4). Draw two lines extending evenly out of the right and left sides of the bottom oval with your pen. These lines will form the body of the wine bottle. End these lines at about 2/3 of the length of the center line.

    • 5). Connect the two outside lines with a curved, half-circle shape in pen. Make sure that the center line in pencil evenly divides this shape on each side.

    • 6). Make two lines reaching from the left and right sides of your top oval. Draw these lines in pen. Connect them to your base to complete the neck of your bottle.

    • 7). Erase all pencil lines.
