How to Learn Italian by Listening to the Radio
- 1). Choose one or two Italian radio stations to listen to each day. Italian radio stations can be found online at websites such as http://www.fiu.edu/~honors/italy/newsradio.htm.
- 2). Download RealPlayer or Windows Media Player from the Internet. Some online Italian radio stations require these programs to work. RealPlayer and Windows Media Player can be downloaded for free.
- 3). Allot a specific time each day or a few times a week to listen to Italian radio programs. Listen to Italian news programs or Italian songs for at least 15 minutes three times a week.
- 4). Write down words that you keep hearing but don't know and look them up in your Italian-English dictionary. The more often you listen to the radio, the more words you will know.
- 5). Print the lyrics to Italian songs you hear on the radio and translate the lyrics, using your Italian-English dictionary. This helps boost your Italian vocabulary.
