How to Compete Every Day - Competition comes in many forms, but in American society it can take on a new dimension.
Americans, particularly American athletes are some of the more intense competitors on the planet.
However as a society we now tend to shy away from competition.

Competition is the sole driving factor in great teams and adding it as a foundational building block to your program can show you results TODAY! How to Compete Every Day 1.
Add small, attainable individual and or team goals every chance you get.
Gym rats who spend their lives in the weight room know all about this.
Every week you go up in the weight, you keep adding 5 pounds until you can't add anymore, and then you lift that 5 pounds one more time than you did last session or last week.
This is what I call "the 5 pound" concept.
Athletes need something to "go for" and to chase.
Don't taunt yourself with perfection, chase the "P" in perfection first, and then add more as you go.
Competition is based on continuing to improve, and continuing to fight.

Compete with the best you can as often as possible.
USC football of the 2000's, Miami FL football from the 80's on, the 12 mighty orphans of the Mighty Mites, and online gamers in halo, call of duty, and madden.
What do they all have in common? They are intensely competitive and battle vs the best competition every single day.
A culture of intense competition especially in practice and in the off season is the key to the success of those top football programs that have won championships and turned out A LOT of first round talent.
The average and even some of the worst online video gamers often destroy those who don't compete like them online.
Brothers in larger families with lots of siblings often turn out to be tough as nails because they have to fight for every inch.
Find a way to scrap for every inch like that and do it every day.
Make competition a cornerstone in your program, whether it be your lifting program, your football team, or your own personal success.
