How to Connect Ubuntu to 2Wire
- 1). Locate the "Network Manager" icon on your Ubuntu toolbar. This toolbar is located at the very top of your monitor by default. The "Network Manager" icon is located to the left of the "Power" button in the upper right corner. Click "Network Manager" one time.
- 2). Locate the name of your 2Wire wireless network in the "Wireless Networks" portion of the drop-down menu. If you have not changed the default name of the network, it will be labeled "2Wire." If you have changed the default name it will display in this list as whatever name you chose.
- 3). Click the name of your 2Wire network one time. Ubuntu will automatically connect to the network. If your network is password protected, a box will appear asking you to provide the password. Type it into the box with your keyboard. Press "Enter" on your keyboard to connect your Ubuntu computer to your 2Wire wireless network.
