In order to ooh and awe a room it must first start with you.
You have to know who you are and what you want.
You have to be confident and strong in your self-image.
Before you go out, ask yourself two questions, "Are you sport fishing, just having fun or are you trying to take this one home to mother?" Now once you've decided your objective you must prepare yourself for any occasion.
The preparation begins before you step out the door and ends with the conversation.
Step 1: Hygiene This is very important no one wants to date the stinky man/women.
Make sure you are always well groomed.
This means hair is neat and clean, shaved and/or combed.
Also, wear a cologne or perfume that is pleasant and not too strong.
Too strong of cologne is indicators that you are trying too hard or you are trying to cover up a body odor.
Step 2: Appropriate look This is important because this is the first thing a person looks at; you only get one first impression.
Only wear things that are flattering to your body type, ladies magazines like Cosmo give great examples of clothing that accentuate different body types and the do's and don'ts of those body types as well.
Men check out the magazine GQ these models have the right idea of what a gentlemen looks like.
It's also show the different clothing for different body types too.
Step 3: Confidence Now even if you are not totally confident in your mind, you can fake it.
First off, stand up straight in a relaxed manner.
Use your hands to relax you, ladies clutch your purse and relax your hand by your waist, never stand with legs completely together but slightly open, you don't want to look boxy.
Men stand up straight and relax shoulders and place your hands in pockets or at your waist.
Now you don't want your pants to fall further than your arm span (This is a turn off).
Last relax your face, make yourself approachable this means no frowns, no Kool-Aid grins and no puppy dog faces.
This way when you walk through the room people want to know who you are.
Step 4: Conversation Keep the conversation simple and keep track of how many personal statements you make.
Try to play ping pong with the conversation.
For example, "I'm from Orlando, where are you from?" "I love to fish, do you like sports?" Last be a great listener, just in case this conversation continues at a later date.
People are impressed when you remember the small details.
Use these types of tips every time you go out and your guaranteed a fun night and even a potential date.
