How to Order Postage
- 1). Visit the United States Postal Service website. Click on the "Buy Stamps and Shop" link in the white navigation bar near the top of the page. The Postal Store home page will open. Click on the "Stamps" link near the top of the Postal Store page.
- 2). Click on your choice.of stamps from options that include stamp books, coils and holiday stamps. The first page of results for the type of stamps you selected will open.
- 3). Click on "View All" to see every alternative on one page or navigate through individual pages. Click on the picture or name of a stamp to get further information. Click on "Buy" to purchase stamps. Note that a "1" in the quantity box may represent a souvenir sheet of 12 stamps or a coil of 100 or more.
- 4). Check the shopping cart to make sure your order is correct. Click on the "Remove" button to delete stamps from your order. Adjust the size of your order by changing the number in the quantity box and clicking on "Update totals."
- 5). Click on "Checkout" when you are certain the order in your shopping cart is correct.
- 6). Click on "Sign Up" if you are using the service for the first time. Select a username, password and password hint. Click "Continue."
- 7). Select "Personal" or "Business" account and click "Continue." Fill in the "User Profile" that requires your full name, address, phone number and email. Add a source code if you have one. Select a "Communications Preference" if you would like to receive additional information from the Postal Service or USPS partner companies. Click on "Continue."
- 8). Examine your "User Profile Summary" to make sure it is correct. Click "Continue." Read the "Privacy Act." Click the circle in front of "Yes" if you agree to the terms, and then click "Continue." Selecting "No" on the "Privacy Act" page will terminate the registration process.
- 9). Click on "Shopping Cart" in the upper portion of the page. Your shopping cart will open. Click on "Checkout." Select the shipping address that is listed or click the "Create New Address" button to enter a different address.

Click on "Continue" after you have entered or selected a shipping address. Enter your credit card information on the "Billing Address" page. If your billing address does not match your shipping address, click on "Create New Address" to enter your billing address. Click "Continue." - 11
Review your order on the "Order Summary" page. Click on "Edit Billing Information" or "Edit Shipping Information" to make corrections. Click on "Edit Shopping Cart" just above the list of products in your order if you want to remove an item or change the quantity. If you edit your shopping cart you may need to repeat a portion of the ordering process. - 12
Click on "Submit My Order" when you are certain that the order is correct.
