I am no gadget person, at the age of forty three I have just learned how load songs on to my MP3 player, (not an Apple product), I have a digital camera that I take to the supermarket to get photo printed off as I don't know how to work it through my computer, and I don't text on the phone and hardly ever call anyone, I prefer talking face to face.
This statement made in front of what looked like a thousand graduates at a California University I believe in 2005 which is about a year after he was then diagnosed with cancer.
The clip that I saw on the news started with Steve talking about how knowing that you are going to die clarifies your mind and finished with the statement that this article is about.

I am basing everything I am saying on a single news clip so forgive me if there are any inaccuracies on the BBC tonight in Scotland, but what I have gathered that Steve's built his success on his vision of the future, he knew what people wanted before they knew it, and he had a passion as well as the desire to see his vision through to the end product which he then gave to the appreciating world.
From a garage as a person who didn't have a university degree to the founder and CEO of the second largest company in the world that is a household name took purpose, purpose of thought and a vision of the future.
I recently took a jump into the unknown and set myself up with an affiliated website, although the purpose of this article is not to promote this, it is people like Tony Robbins whom I have had the good fortune to attend his fire walk seminar three times and now Steve Jobs have inspired myself to take action to take control of my life and not allow other people to live it for me.
It, for myself is all about the desire to be in control of my own life and destiny, and with a mentor like Steve Jobs or Tony Robbins then I am truly following in the footsteps of giants.
The Giants as I am calling them had a vision and a purpose, this is what I want for myself and what I want to give to you.
If you have a dream and a desire to fulfill your dreams then it is all about getting educated on how to achieve what these mentors have given.
