How to Troubleshoot an Ionic Breeze
- 1). Remove the Ionic Breeze away from fireplaces. Dust and soot will clog up the filters and the unit may not work properly.
- 2). Turn off and unplug the unit if you hear a static noise. Slide the collection grid out from the Ionic Breeze. Turn or invert the unit several times. Replace the the collection grid. Plug back into the wall and turn the unit on.
- 3). Clean the unit if a red light appears. This indicates that the unit is dirty and needs to be cleaned. When the red light appears, the Ionic Breeze will turn itself off.
- 4). Turn the Ionic Breeze off to determine if other appliances are interfering with its operational frequency. Change the location of the unit or the antenna to reduce interference.
- 5). Try connecting the Ionic Breeze to a different electronic outlet. To avoid further interference, plug the unit into its own wall plug and avoid sharing the plug with an appliance that may be causing the interference.
