Let the Flowers Do the Talking

You may have heard it said that anything that can be said (by word of mouth) could be said better using a bouquet of fresh flowers.
But you wonder how to get that ideal bouquet that will say exactly what you have in mind and not a word less.
Well, look no further; with this set of instructions, you need not utter a single word; just let the flowers do the talking.
Many are the times persons in relationships find themselves on the receiving end of harsh or cold treatment for something they did or did not do.
If that is the case for you, it is a good idea to neutralize the situation using a well thought out bouquet of flowers.
Daffodils, daisies and chrysanthemums are common favorites because their mild coloring expresses regret and sorrow over wrongs committed - a colorful bouquet would seem rather playful.
Drafting a brief note to attach to it is a good idea.
You need your flowers and the drafted message to complement each other.
So how about including a statement linking the two? Take some time to think about the message you write though.
A cardinal sin in this domain would be to quote from a song or get a message from an online source.
This does not show sincerity; at the same time, an own-composed message will show you put some effort into it and may just win that person back.
You may also wish to buy flowers on an occasion such as an anniversary.
Various flowers are used as symbols for different anniversaries - though the meaning may be lost if your partner is clueless on this.
Nonetheless, they are all beautiful flowers which will express the depth of your feelings pretty well.
They range from lilacs and zinnias to spearmints and sunflowers.
If though, you wish to go the extra mile and deliver flowers according to their conventional meaning, consider these: carnations for the first anniversary and lily of the valley for the second; daisies on the 5th and a yellow daffodil on the 10th; roses on the 15th and Aster on the 20th.
The 25th anniversary could use the iris, while the 50th is linked with yellow roses to show faith in your partner, and violets as a sign of humility.
Your local florist may come in quite handy in all of this, armed as she should be with relevant information.
Flowers are also linked to certain months and this creates the relationship between one's month of birth with a particular flower.
It may therefore be a person's favorite flower; so if you wonder what flower to get someone as a gift, think about their month of birth and find out the appropriate flower.
Moreover, you need not wait for special occasions in order to buy flowers; getting that special someone lovely fresh flowers on the most ordinary of days has an even better effect.
It tells them that you genuinely care for them, enough to remember them on any other day; quite different from what they may feel when flowers are sent as a formality.
