- 1). Log in to your Tumblr dashboard by navigating to tumblr.com in your Web browser and entering the required log-in information.
- 2). Click the "Customize" link under the name of your blog on the right side of the page.
- 3). Click "Info" in the upper-left corner of the page.
- 4). Click the Title field, and type a title of 50 characters or less for your blog.
- 5). Click the Description field, and type the information that you would like people to see upon first viewing your blog.
- 6). Click the "Choose File" button under "Portrait Photo." Find an image on your computer that you would like to use for the headline image on your Tumblr blog, and double-click it.
- 7). Click the "Save + Close" button in the upper-right corner of the page to save the updated Tumblr profile.
