Atlanta, capital of the state of Georgia, fosters economic growth in several industries. Students living in the city who are seeking instruction and certification in massage therapy have three options for post-secondary education. Graduates from massage schools in Atlanta can find employment with chiropractors, acupuncture practitioners, health clubs, day spas or even on cruise ships in locations around the world. - Atlanta Massage Therapy Schools offers training in neuromuscular therapy, Swedish massage and deep tissue therapy, spa therapies, reflexology and seated massage. As well as training students to massage clients, school instruction follows a client-centered philosophy. Students learn how to conduct interviews with patients, as well as assess and treat them as individuals according to their needs, providing an appropriate level of care for every session.
