    • 1). Fill a glass of water with hot water from the sink nearest to the dishwasher. Place a meat or candy thermometer in the water and wait for the temperature on the thermometer to remain stable. If the temperature is less than 140 degrees Fahrenheit, turn up the hot water thermostat that services the dishwasher to increase the water temperature. If the water is not hot enough, the dishes will remain cold and wet after the wash cycle is complete.

    • 2). Avoid selecting the "Air Dry" or "Power Miser" drying option, as these features do not use heat and may leave the dishes wet. Select a heated option or automatic wash and dry cycle.

    • 3). Space dishes evenly in the dishwasher and avoid overloading the dishwasher to allow for proper air flow.

    • 4). Add rinse aid detergent to the rinse aid compartment. Rinse aid detergent can be purchased at most grocery stores, drug stores, hardware stores or home repair stores and aids with the drying process.

    • 5). Contact an authorized repair technician if the above steps do not fix the problem.
