The choice to breastfeed one's child is commendable because it is a demanding task on the body and it can become discouraging especially if it is not going smoothly.
Frequently, because of the myths told to them by others, mothers opt for formula.
A few of these myths are: It is Painful While it is true that for the first few days, there can be some soreness to the nipples and they can swell a little bit, this is not how the entire process is going to be.
The baby is trying to acquaint him/herself with his/her food and will need some guidance and patience in order to do it efficiently.
When this is achieved, the swelling and soreness will go away and except for the milk, everything will go back to normal.

On an individual basic, depending on a woman's lifestyle choices, this may be the case for her, but it is not a general rule for women.
As long as you are taking healthy care of yourself and the baby is put on the breast regularly, the milk will flow.
Formula is just as Good There is no other food like breast milk because it has everything that a baby will need to keep healthy and strong.
Indeed, there have been improvements with formulas throughout the years, but it is not the equivalent to breast milk.
Breast milk has vital antibiotics that help to fight off many illnesses whereas formula does not.
