Starting your online business is the easiest way short of winning the lottery to make a full-time living yourself.
That is why so many online businesses pop every day.
But the majority of online businesses that begin are nowhere to be seen 3-6 months later.
Let me give you some steps on how to start and maintain your own successful online business.
Business Startup Tip #1: Start With A Plan Most people don't know enough about starting a business to come up with a plan.
That is why I suggest that before you spend any time or money building your business, you first learn a little about the industry and create a business plan.
Most online businesses fail because the owners had no vision and no plan.
If you are not sure how to create a plan, spend some time researching on the internet or find somebody that can help you out.
This is not a "sexy" step, but it is necessary.
Business Startup Tip #2: Create Your Website Once you have a business plan, you should be ready to create your own website.
I personally use nothing but squeeze pages - pages whose only purpose is to get people to signup to my list.
Squeeze pages are simple and can be created in just a few minutes.
You can, of course, make money with other types of websites, but using squeeze pages is the quickest and easiest way to get started online.
Business Startup Tip #3: Build A List If you have not thought about building a list, you definitely need to start.
Your list is your very own interested and focused customer base.
They must like you and believe you can help them or they would not have signed up! It is so difficult these days to get new visitors to your website, and that is why you must capture your visitor's email address and name to be successful as small online entrepreneur.
Your list will be the source for a steady stream of sales.
