- 1). Open MS Paint.
- 2). Click the "Home" tab and choose "Shape."
- 3). Click the "Line" tool.
- 4). Click "Size" and select the line thickness your prefer from the drop-down menu. The bottom selection applies the thickest line.
- 5). Click "Color 1" and then click a color from the palette to set the line color.
- 6). Click and drag your mouse to create a thick line. Hold the "Shift" key while dragging to constrain the line horizontally, vertically or 45 degrees diagonally.
