How to Adjust the Timer on an Ice Maker
- 1). Pry the front cover of the ice maker off carefully, using a small flat-head screwdriver placed between the cover and the body of the unit.
- 2). Locate the set screw that controls how much water flows into the ice maker. This set screw should be located at the front of the ice maker and at about the same height as the shut-off arm.
- 3). Turn the screw clockwise to decrease the amount of water flowing into the unit and make ice more slowly. Turn the set screw counterclockwise to increase the water flow and make ice more quickly.
