    • 1). Open the image you wish to place your text graffiti on in your graphic editing program. This can be done by clicking "File" and then "Open" from the top menu.

    • 2). Type in the content of your text. From the "Font" menu in your software, select the graffiti font you want. Under the "Size" menu, pick a font size that is big enough to be seen in your image.

    • 3). Apply a gradient to your text using your software's gradient tool. This will typically be found in the tools palette on the left side of the screen. Choose two colors for your gradient that complement each other, such as blue and black.

    • 4). Apply an outline to your text. This can usually be found in the "Text Effects" or "Effects" section of your software. This outline can either be black or white. Either will make the text stand out.

    • 5). Change the layer mode of your text layer to "Blend" or "Overlay." Either one of these will drop the opacity slightly and make the text blend into the image behind it.

    • 6). Adjust the brightness and contrast of your text. Increase the contrast, but decrease the brightness if it is still not blending in completely with your background image.
