    • 1). Carefully remove the wrapper from the candy bar to be wrapped. Measure the length and width of the wrapper.

    • 2). Open photo editing software and use the Shapes tool to create a rectangle the width and length of the candy wrapper. For example, to create a wrapper for a full-size Hershey's chocolate bar, create a box 5 inches wide x 5-1/4 inches long, or 375 x 393 pixels.

    • 3). Using the software Fill tool, fill the box with a pastel color of choice.

    • 4). Create a box one inch smaller than the width of the wrapper and approximately one-third the length. For instance, for the full-size Hershey's chocolate bar, this would be 4 inches wide x 1-3/4 inches long, or 318 x 131 pixels.

    • 5). Using the software Fill tool, fill the box with a dark color that complements the pastel (this will create a background for the message).

    • 6). Using the Text tool, create a text box the width of the dark box created in step 6. For instance, the text box for a full-size Hershey's chocolate bar would be 4 inches wide or 300 pixels.

    • 7). Select the font and font size preferred and type in the greeting of choice such as "Happy Birthday!" or "Congratulations."

    • 8). Select all three boxes, then use the Align tool to center the boxes on top of each other. If necessary, use the Arrange tool to change the order of the boxes to ensure the pastel box is on the bottom, then the dark box, then the text box on top.

    • 9). Using the Insert Clipart tool, insert a complementary graphic image. Resize the image to approximately 3/4-inches or 56 pixels square and place on the top right-hand corner of the dark box. The candy bar wrapper is now ready to print.
