How to Close a Pillow Seam

1). Thread the needle and knot the ends together.
2). Pull the needle through one of the inside edges of the opening so that the knot of the thread will be on the inside of the pillow.
3). Bring the needle through the outside edge of the opposite side of the opening and pull the thread through.
4). Bring the needle over to the first side of the opening again and insert it through the outside edge of the fabric.
5). Repeat steps 3 and 4 all along the length of the opening, spacing the stitches about 1/4 inch apart.
6). Secure the thread at the end by pulling the needle and thread underneath one of the stitches and making a small knot. Pull the knot tight so that it sinks into the seam and clip the thread as close to the knot as possible.
