Instructions for Magic Chef Breadmaker
- 1). Open the lid of the bread machine. Grasp the handle of the bread pan with your hand and pull it straight up and out of the bread machine to remove it.
- 2). Insert the kneading blade inside the bread pan by fitting it over the groove on the bottom of the pan and turning it until it locks. Test the blade to ensure it locked firmly into place by pulling it.
- 3). Add the ingredients according to your recipe. Always add liquid ingredients first and then add dry ingredients next. Measure and pour the yeast into the bread pan last over all of the other ingredients.
- 4). Wipe down any spills and drips from the outside of the bread pan and place the bread pan back into the bread machine. Push the bread pan straight down into the bread machine until you hear and feel it lock into place.
- 5). Close the lid of the bread machine and plug it into an outlet.
- 6). Select the baking mode by pressing the "Select" button. Continue to press this button to advance through the baking mode choices and stop when you find the mode you desire.
- 7). Select the crust color by pressing the "Crust" button if you desire a dark or light crust. If you desire a medium crust, do not press the crust button.
- 8). Press the "Start" button to begin the machine immediately. Notice the timer that begins counting down the time until the bread will finish baking inside the machine.
- 9). Press the "Stop" button when the bread machine finishes the cycle. Hold this button down until the timer shows zeros and then open the lid. Use the potholder to grasp the handle of the bread pan and pull it straight up and out of the machine.

Invert the bread pan on the counter using potholders to protect your hands. Shake the bread pan gently to loosen and dislodge the loaf of bread from the pan. If the kneading blade is still in the bottom of the bread loaf, remove it by loosening it with a butter knife (it will be very hot). - 11
Cool the loaf of bread on a wire rack and wait at least 20 minutes before slicing it for best results. - 12
Unplug the bread machine and allow it to cool completely before performing any clean up. Remove the lid of the bread machine by opening it part way and pulling it toward you. Wipe the lid with a damp cloth and clean the viewing window with a small amount of dishwashing soap if you desire. Wipe the interior and exterior of the bread machine with a damp cloth to clean it. - 13
Wipe the inside and outside of the bread pan with the damp cloth. Do not use any soap to clean the bread pan or the kneading blade because this will create a sticky surface on the pan. Clean the kneading blade by soaking it in warm water and then removing the dough residues with the damp cloth.
