    • 1). Cut out four pieces from the cardboard. Cut one rectangular piece measuring 2 inches wide by 6 inches long. Cut two triangular pieces measuring 2 inches wide on each side. Cut two trapezoidal shapes measuring 2 inches wide with one long side measuring 6 inches and one long side measuring 8 inches.

    • 2). Place the rectangular piece onto a flat surface.

    • 3). Squeeze a line of hot glue along the long side of the rectangle.

    • 4). Press the 6-inch sides of the trapezoidal shape onto the hot glue, leaning them out at a 120-degree angle.

    • 5). Allow the hot glue to cool completely.

    • 6). Squeeze a line of hot glue around each edge of the ends of the rectangle and trapezoidal shapes.

    • 7). Press the triangular shapes onto the hot glued ends.

    • 8). Allow the hot glue to cool completely.

    • 9). Paint the entire boat with waterproof paint, inside and outside.

      Allow the paint to dry completely, then float it in water.
