    • 1). Drive the Chrysler Sebring onto a set of front-end ramps and secure it using the parking brake. This allows you room to work under the vehicle.

    • 2). Locate the flange between the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter. The flange has two bolts, one on each side that hold the two components together. Place a wrench on the left nut that secures to the left bolt. Place a ratchet and socket onto the head of the left bolt and turn the nut off the bolt. Repeat the process with the right bolt and right nut. Pull both bolts out of the flange. Complete this task while under the vehicle.

    • 3). Locate the nuts that secure the exhaust manifold to the engine head. On the six-cylinder engine you will locate eight nuts. On the four-cylinder engine you will locate 10 nuts. Remove the nuts with a socket and ratchet.

    • 4). Pull the manifold off the threaded studs connected to the engine head and then pull the manifold upward and out of the engine bay.

    • 5). Repeat the process on the passenger side manifold if your engine is a six-cylinder model.
