How Do I Stop the Big Rolling Goron in Goron City in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time"
- 1). Travel to Goron City once it is unlocked on your map. In the town you will find a Goron that is continuously rolling in a set pattern. Speak to the Gorons standing around and they will tell you that there is nothing that can be done to stop it from rolling.
- 2). Position Link directly in front of the Goron. Open the "Items" menu and add bombs to Link's weapons inventory. Press the "A" button to throw a bomb directly at the Goron. The bomb must explode in front of the Goron to stop it from rolling.
- 3). Stand in front of the Goron and press the "A" button to speak to it. After the dialog, the Goron will give Link its tunic. This item must be worn to enter the Fire Temple. Without it Link will perish immediately due to the heat. The tunic is available for purchase at the Goron City store; however, stopping the Goron from rolling will give you the tunic and save you 200 rupees.
