- 1). Raise one of the 2003 Volkswagen Beetle's wipers away from the windshield.
- 2). Turn the wiper blade assembly slightly. This will expose a lever on the wiper arm. Depress the this lever.
- 3). Pull the wiper blade out of the Volkswagen Beetle's wiper arm. Unlike other types of hook arm wipers, the blade assembly will not come straight out of hook. The lever depressed in Step 2 will create an opening the blade assembly needs to be maneuvered out of.
- 4). Align the new wiper's central connection with the Volkswagen's wiper arm. Slide the blade through the opening on the arm and flick the release lever closed.
- 5). Lower the blade to the Beetle's windshield. Move to the remaining wiper blade and repeat the removal and installation process.
