    Sports Gifts

    • An athletic boyfriend will appreciate a sport's gift if sports rule his life. By now you probably know his favorite sport, team or player, so personalize the gift to reflect those. Give him a basket filled with various accessories to his favorite sport, sporting gear and a sports bag. Personalize the items in the basket by printing his or his favorite team's name across the front. Alternatively, give him front-row tickets to a sporting event featuring his favorite team or lessons to improve his game.

    Electronics

    • Most teens like electronics, so give your boyfriend an iPod or MP3 player with songs your both listened to over the previous year, a cell phone, digital camera, laptop or video games. If he already owns the items, consider accessories such as protective covers or cases.

    Coupon Book

    • Impress your teenage boyfriend with a handmade coupon book filled with coupons for free activities for both of you. Cut mildly scented paper into 5-inch wide strips and write or print an activity over each such as "Free Hug," "One Kiss," "Massage after Finals," "Cook Dinner Together" and "Ice-cream at Favorite Spot." Embellish each coupon with decorative stickers and hearts using gel pens. Punch a hole through a side of the coupons and bind them with decorative ribbon.

    Clothing

    • Most teen boys appreciate clothing, so give your friend a piece of clothing from a fancy store. Ideas include hoodies or sweatshirts in his favorite colors that keep him warm and remind him of you, funny T-shirts to keep the mood light or a pair of jeans. Alternatively, give him a gift certificate to his favorite clothing store and go along to help him choose an item of clothing you both agree on.

    Date Gift

    • Cook your boyfriend's favorite dish or dessert on your anniversary and have it at the park or spot that is significant to both of you. For instance, bake your boyfriend a batch of his favorite cookies or a dish he likes and pack it in plastic boxes. Have the dessert or meal in a corner of a local park, beach or outdoor spot to spend time together. Take candles along and light those to create a romantic ambiance.

    Jewelry

    • If your boyfriend likes jewelry, give him a chain, ring, bracelet, watch or another piece of jewelry he is sure to appreciate. Personalize the item by inscribing yours and his initials over the back or a personal note that brings a smile to his face whenever he reads it.
