Time for a new refrigerator? Well, you've come to the right place.
Having been a Sears refrigerator salesperson, I know a few things about refrigerators and pointing out to customers what to look for in a new model.

Stick With The Name Brands.
Kenmore and Whirlpool are the best.
By the way, Kenmore is made by Whirlpool, so you can't go wrong.
The Kenmore models are only available at Sears.
The quality of both are great.
Just check Consumer Reports.

Make Sure The Refrigerator Will Fit In Your Opening.
Today's models are much larger than in the past.
Before shopping for a new one, measure the space for the new refrigerator.
You don't want to get it home and find out that it's too big.
3.
Size Matters.
A typical, growing family of 4 will need a 25 cu.
ft.
model.
Always get one a little larger than you think you need.
We all know how quickly they fill up with growing kids in the house.
Just think of the Thanksgiving turkey, birthday cakes, 6 foot subs, etc.
4.
Configuration.
Do you want a side x side, top mount, bottom mount, or 3 door(french door)? Mount refers to the freezer location.
If you're tall, choose a side x side or bottom mount so that the refrigerator is at eye level.
If you use the freezer quite a bit, choose a top mount so that the freezer is at eye level.
If you prefer both at eye level, choose a side x side.
Test them out to see what is most comfortable for you.
5.
Water/Ice In The Door.
Water and ice dispensers in the door are almost standard these days.
A great convenience, but they will be the first things to break.
You can't get an ice dispenser on a 3 door model (freezer drawer on bottom).
Ice will not travel upwards.
6.
Color.
Today's refrigerators come in all colors.
Stainless is the most popular, but will cost you more.
