  • 1). Examine the edge of the tiles to determine if a thin piece of trim tile is attached to the edge. If trim is present, grasp it in one hand and place your other hand flat on the nearest tile. Pull up on the trim to detach it. Repeat the process around the entire perimeter of the floor.

  • 2). Walk to the row of SnapLock tiles that was installed last. If you did not install the floor, walk to one corner and lift the corner gently. The tile should have pegs along the edge that point down into the tile next to it. If the tile does not have pegs, check the other corners until you locate one that does.

  • 3). Pick up the corner tile in your hands and place one foot on the tile beside it. Pull up on the corner tile where it meets the other tile and you will hear a snapping noise as the tile detaches.

  • 4). Insert a broom handle under the loose edge of the tile and push it forward along the entire row to detach the tiles.

  • 5). Pull the detached row away from the remaining floor and flip it face down. Lift up on one side of the row to detach the end tile.

  • 6). Place the detached tile finished side up in the square storage cart provided with the flooring.

  • 7). Repeat the process along the entire row until you reach the end, and then continue removing rows until the floor is completely removed.
