- 1). Go to the Chester Zoo home page. (Follow the link in Resources.)
- 2). Click on the “Support Us” tab at the top of the screen. You will notice that new links will appear in a tool bar below.
- 3). Select the “Adopt” link in the second tool bar.
- 4). Click on the “Adopt an Animal Click Here” tab, found to the left of the “Adopt” description page.
- 5). Choose the letter “P” on the “Select an Animal” page.
- 6). Click on the picture of a penguin, or on the “Penguins” link. A new browser will open with a brief description of penguins in general.
- 7). Select the “Adopt Me!” tab at the bottom of the description. You will be taken to a registration page.
- 8). Register with Chester Zoo if you don't already have an online account. If you do, log in at the top of the registration page. To register with Chester Zoo, you will need to enter your name, address, birthday and contact information. Only residents of the United Kingdom can register with Chester Zoo. After you register, you will be able to enter a donation amount. Check out as you would if you were on any online shopping website to complete the process.
- 9). Call the Chester Zoo Adoption Office at 011 (+44) 01244 650 204 to place an adoption order over the phone, or to acquire further information. You can also email the Chester Zoo Adoption Office at adoptions@chesterzoo.org.
