The movie Alpha and Omega 3D, a CG animated venture by LionsGate productions, looks like absolute trash. The whole premise seems like a recycled typical teen romance, where the awkward but nice loser guy tries to get a girl who is normally completely out of his league. The genius twist? They're wolves! Oh look! You even get to watch it in amazing 3D so you can really feel the weight of regret of wasting money to watch this piece of crap. But that's not all! Oh no folks, not only will you be entertained by a cast of flat characterization and cliche plot, but there will also be some shoe-horned quirky dialogue inserted at inappropriate times to make it more kid friendly! Yes, undeniably, they'll be more than one occasion where emotions are tense, probably when the loser wolf is explaining about how his mother/father died by an Eskimo, and then out pops that annoying talking goose doing something annoying. What more can you say?

Oh yeah, the CG. The godawful CG. Maybe I've been too spoiled by the masters of Pixar, but the rendering on this movie looks third rate, like it was made by a cheap animation company made by first year art students. Only go to this movie if you want to completely suspend your logic and reasoning, probably after a few beers and two nights of screaming kids who kinda sorta like wolves.
