Oklahoma has a wide variety of public golf courses for golfers visiting or considering relocating to this state. Course offerings range from a golf course funded by the citizens of one county, to a residential golf Mecca, to country clubs with public courses. You're sure to find just the right golf course to meet your needs in Oklahoma. All rates are current as of March 2010. - Heritage Hills is an 18-hole public championship golf course measuring 6,701 yards with a par of 71. The course operates under the direction of the Rogers County Public Facilities Authority, which is the municipal branch of the local government that funds community projects. According to the Heritage Hills website, it was the first golf course ever built utilizing funding from the Farmers Home Administration.
Heritage Hills has a practice green, driving range, cart rentals, a traveling beverage car, pro shop, and on-course restrooms. The greens fee is $23 and $24 on weekends. The cart rental fee is $24 for the cart and $12 per person riding, whether all riders are playing or not. There are discounts for seniors and juniors as well as those who choose to tee off at twilight or sunset. A second round of golf is only $5 if you're walking. Heritage Hills also has annual rates available for frequent players.

One of the special things about this course is that you can live there. Very nice residential homes overlook the course, making it a dream retirement home for the avid golfer. Emerald Falls also offers a one-year free membership for unlimited play on the Emerald Falls course to all new Emerald Falls homeowners.
Individuals can pay a greens fee for one-time play, or an annual or monthly fee. Annual and monthly rates are available for individuals, families, seniors, and corporate groups. Emerald Falls has a standard golf dress-code requirement. The course also has a pro shop, practice facility and restaurant.

Willow Creek is widely considered one of the best golf courses in the state of Oklahoma and hosts several tournaments including the Willow Creek Classic. The course has a men's and a women's golf association with weekly and monthly events.
Willow Creek offers single, family, senior, junior and corporate memberships. Willow Creek also features a full restaurant and grill as well as meeting and banquet facilities. The grill room has a relaxed atmosphere and a big-screen television that often broadcasts sporting events.
