Do Not Forget the Use of Par 5s

Have you ever taken advantage of par 5s? Most people may not do that. Because par 5 is always mean to professional golfers. You can see many golf pros use par 5 in some professional competitions. A par 5, or par-5 hole, is a hole that an expert golfer is expected to need five strokes to complete. On most golf courses, a par 5 is the longest hole.

A hole's par always includes two putts, so a par 5 is one where the expert golfer is expected to hit the fairway with his tee shot, advance the ball farther up the fairway on the second stroke, hit the green with his third stroke, and then take two putts to get the ball in the hole.

There are usually from two to six par-5 holes on a full-sized 18-hole golf course, with four (two on the front nine, two on the back nine) being the most common number of par 5s.

Golfers who hit the ball very far might be able to reach the green of a par-5 hole in just two strokes, rather than three, setting up an opportunity for eagle. There are no rules about how long or short golf holes should be.

Several players had opportunities down the stretch to at least match Stallings and force a playoff, but none were able to capitalize. Many players cower in fear when they step on the tee of a par 5, but I believe you should greet every par 5 with excitement.

Firstly, you must play the correct set of tee markers. If 200 yards is your max drive, but you insist on playing tees that make par-5 holes 500 yards or longer, then I'm sorry there's no helping you. Play a set of tees that will leave at least one par 5 on the course that you could possibly reach in two shots.

Secondly, just lay up on par 5s only if you have to. Out of bounds and water hazards are the only two reasons I can think of that should warrant laying up. Don't let rough and bunkers scare you. By refusing to lay up, even if you miss the green, you will at least have a short shot of Mizuno MP-54 Irons [http://www.bestgolfonline.co.uk/Mizuno-MP-54-Irons-For-Sale-462.html] remaining. This will often minimize the danger that rough and bunkers can present.

After all, it's the only time you're supposed to take five shots to get the ball in the hole. Follow these tips to take advantage of par 5s and make the playing of Titleist CB 714 Irons [http://www.bestgolfonline.co.uk/Titleist-CB-714-Irons-For-Sale-460.html] more fun and exciting.

Finally, please do not forget to go for a max distance off the tee. This doesn't necessarily mean to swing out of your shoes. It simply means that if the hole allows for a driver, don't get timid and pull 3-wood or make a safety swing with the driver. Just take an action when you are in need of it!
