    Using Windows Media Player

    • 1). Open Windows Media Player. Click the "Sync" tab.

    • 2). Connect the portable media player to your computer using the USB sync cable. After a few seconds, Windows Media Player will detect the portable media player.

    • 3). Drag and drop the MP3s you want to transfer to the portable media player into the "Sync/List" window to the right of Windows Media Player.

    • 4). Click the "Start Sync." button to begin the transfer.

    Using Windows Explorer

    • 1). Connect the portable media player to your computer using the USB sync cable.

    • 2). Click the "Start" button in the Windows Taskbar. Click "My Computer."

    • 3). Double click "Removable Disk [F:]". This will open the root directory of your portable media player. Note--If you have other external hard drives connected (including other media players or flash drives), the recently connected portable media player will have the letter latest in the alphabet. Only if you have nothing similar connected to your computer will it register as the "F" drive.

    • 4). Drag and drop the MP3s you want to transfer to the device to the root directory. Your media player will automatically categorize the MP3 files.
