How to Hook Up Two Crown Amplifiers to a Bridge

    • 1). Disconnect the negative power cable from the vehicle's battery terminal with pliers or a wrench.

    • 2). Change both Crown amplifiers to "Bridge" mode by sliding the switch on the edge.

    • 3). Cut a length of speaker wire long enough to reach both Crown amps and remove an inch of insulation from each end.

    • 4). Loosen the positive terminal on one of the speaker outputs on one of the amps with a screwdriver and loosen the negative terminal on the other amp.

    • 5). Insert one end of the speaker wire into the hole for the positive terminal on one amp, tighten the screw and connect the other end of the wire to the negative terminal on the second amp.

    • 6). Connect speaker wires to the remaining positive and negative terminal on each amplifier and hook up the other ends to the positive and negative terminals on a speaker or subwoofer.
